Damp Mould and Condensation Resources for Tenants & Occupiers

This button is a link to NEA's (National Energy Action) 'Resources' page. Scroll down the page to the "Dealing with damp and condensation" section.  This area on the NEA website includes many other subjects - and provides a great set of resources for tenant &/or resident information.  There is also a 'Dealing with condensation and mould' leaflet which can be downloaded from the NEA site - which is different to the NEA leaflet below.

This document is an older version from NEA.  It is a 5 pager with a nice blend of text and graphics.  There is a newer version downloadable from the NEA website (button above this one) - I just really like this older version!

"Moisture guidance for existing homeowners".  This is an excellent 7 minute video.  Made for occupiers.  It is from the UKCMB (UK Center for Moisture in Buildings).

Awaiting permission to publish.  This document is a really nice short (2 pager).  Nice and simple - with a pointer to help from the HEART team.

Awaiting permission to publish:  This leaflet is focussed on social housing tenants including what the RP can do.  It is also focussed on Condensation and Mould rather than other forms of damp.  Effectively two and a half pages, lots of pictures.  Tenant friendly.

Awaiting permission to publish:  This is a longer leaflet, 7 pages.  It is thorough, covers types of damp and has lots of 'room by room' tips.  BUT the 3rd page has a line relating to issues often being due to "habits and lifestyle".  Since the introduction of Awaab's Law practitioners are strongly encouraged not to attribute issues to occupiers.

Awaiting permission to publish:  4 pager - all text.  Focussed on condensation.
